It’s annual testing time again and we want every one of our students to do his/her very best.
Here are a few suggestions of things you, as a parent, can do to help your child succeed during
testing.
Make sure your child gets a good night’s rest – at least 8 hours – before each test day.
Make sure your child eats a healthy breakfast the morning of each test either at home
or at school.
Ensure that your child is on time to school.
Schedule student appointments (doctors/dentist, etc.) that don’t conflict with the
testing periods.
Be positive. Encourage your child to take the test seriously and do his or her best.
Give words of encouragement as your child leaves for school each day.
After school, ask your child about his/her day of testing.
