Huskisson's Valentines

Mrs. Huskisson's class celebrated Valentine's Day by having some snacks and learning about the history of Valentine's Day. They learned St Valentine,a bishop, married people against the emperors wishes. He didn't want the soldiers distracted by having wives. St Valentine was imprisoned and fell in love with the jailers daughter and wrote the first ever Valentine to her.  Then they did some valentine poetry and sentence scramblers.
