When I grow up, I want to be the best community helper who saves people
stated one of my students. This week we learned all about community
helpers and had some leaders come in from our community and share how they
help people. The fire department came and shared how they help our
community, along with my father-in-law who is a music teacher. The kids
all shared about how they wanted to help our community and what role they
wanted to play in the future!
In STEAM your engines, this week we learned the word ³dissolve² and made
slime! It was exciting to watch the students mix their ingredients!
Remember that Thursday is our Harvest Hoedown (5:30pm to 7:00pm) and
Friday is our field trip to Trunnel¹s farm. Please have your child wear
tennis shoes and wear a jacket in case it is cold. Fall break is October
10th - 14th (no school all week).
