Text Talks

Mrs. Jewell's class has been working really hard on their text talks and the students are making great progress! A text talk is when the kids read a passage on their level and answer two short comprehension questions. We have also started doing partner text talks where the students work in pairs--this has been a big hit! Students are allowed to give positive feedback to other students by commenting on their work once they are finished. Here are the kids in action!
