Attendance Competition

Estes Elementary is competing with the other elementary schools in a district attendance competition. We came in last place for the months of December, January and February. LAST PLACE! We don't want your children at school because of a competition; we want your children at school because we love teaching them!
An education is more important in today's world than it was when your grandparents went to school. Thirty years ago American factories were still in existence and paying good money, but if you look around today the factory jobs in America are getting harder and harder to find. If a person without an education is lucky enough to find a factory job, there are skills that are being taught in our school that a person will need to have to be hired.  At Estes, we are teaching your children the 21st century skills they will need to be successful in today's world. You children are learning the skills of: cooperation, critical thinking, creativity and communication.
The one great thing about an education is that once you have it-it can't be taken from you. A person can lose their house, their money, their clothes and their car, but the one thing a person can't lose is their education.
If you have an education and grit (passion and perseverance), you will be able to overcome any obstacle that is put in front of you!
