Yesterday ELA walked over to Kight Home Store on Hwy 54. There was soooo much learning that took place. First we saw our community helpers in action when the police stopped traffic on hwy 54 for us to safely cross. Then we saw synergizing when our friend Mr. Warren and his friend worked together to build a bird house. We have been learning about habitats and saw the tools and materials that will be used to build our habitat, a home. We will place our bird house outside at school and watch it become a habitat for the birds. We learned about blue prints and the importance of having a plan and beginning with the end in mind. I could go on and on but the pictures tell it all. Our 39 students were so interested asked great questions and represented our school very well. I couldn't be prouder!!
