The Harralson Blog

This week is a full week of celebrating reading with Dr. Seuss activities!
Wednesday is "Read Across America" and I have some exciting things
planned!  I sent home a note that has all the dress up days for the week
but here is a friendly reminder:
Monday - Hat Day
Tuesday - Crazy Sock Day
Wednesday - Pajama Day
Thursday - Animal Print/Wear A Shirt With An Animal
Friday - Wear Green
We had a blast making snow cream and ice cream this week by incorporating
our Science terms melting, freezing, solid, and liquid. Thanks to Mr.
Sorce and the third class for coming to help our students make ice cream!
Also, the kids finalized our shape unit by making 2D and 3D shapes with
marshmallows and toothpicks.
I have to give a SHOUT OUT to all of our parents and staff for making the
first publishing party a HUGE success!  See the video of pictures attached.
