An Elf Visits Estes

Attention ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls and students of all ages I have announcement to make. Starting tomorrow a life sized elf will make his way to Estes Elementary. This elf has been sent from the North Pole to check how the boys and girls of Estes are doing. Come to school every day to see where this elf will be sitting and watching you. You never know where he could be! He might just end up in classroom for the day. The elf will also be here Thursday night for the K and 1 sing along, so bring your cameras and get your picture taken with the elf.

The Teacher from the Black Lagoon

Our first grade students went to see The Teacher from the Black Lagoon at the River Park recently. Before the play and after the play the students did various activities to activate their schema of the book and play. Here are a few pics to show what they were doing.
