The Harralson Blog

Live Animals!
We got to experience seeing a few live animals this week.  Our trip to Trunnel’s was a lot of fun and the kids had a blast seeing the farm animals, picking a pumpkin, and drinking an apple slushy!
I was excited when I saw that I had a package in the office that said we had live animals in a box – mealworms!  The students got to see our mealworms molt and released them into nature today.
In our STEAM club, we learned how to code with robots to knock down structures.  We also built structures out of spaghetti noodles and marshmallows.
Thanks again for coming out to our Harvest Hoedown!  The kids had such a great time!
These next few weeks, we will be learning about scarecrows, pumpkins, bats, and spiders.  Don’t forget your parent/teacher conference date and time.  I am so excited about showing you how your child is growing in our class :)
