Inferences and Experiments in Mrs. Lancaster's Class

These are pictures of our class using photographs to make inferences. They
did the gallery walk and then recorded their inferences. The pictures with
the ice and droppers were for our science experiment. We used salt to see
the chemical reaction that takes place when salt is added to ice. We
dropped colored water on to the melting ice to help us see the reaction
that took place on the ice after the salt was applied. We also took solid
jello powder, applied heated and cooled water, and watched the solid jello
powder turn into a liquid. Then the jello was cooled in the refrigerator
and it became solid again. The students also got to see the water boil,
seeing liquid turning into a gas.
