Mrs. McCarty's 2nd graders are working hard using their new reading strategies! Students paired up with a partner and helped each other with "investigations" in their books. Each partner checked to see if their partner was reading their book correctly, using sticky notes efficiently, and were able to retell and summarize their stories. We showed excellent team work and grit during reading time!
